Academic qualifications obtained while in matrimonial period is a marital property- judge Kalembera

Blantyre High court judge Sylvester Kalembera on August 31 2020 ruled that academic certificates obtained while in marriage belongs to both the husband and wife.
This decision has been made in a divorce case involving a couple in Blantyre.
Justice Kalembera has since ordered the husband to compensate the divorced wife for the loss of contributions she made when the husband was pursuing his studies.
