The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has denied granting bail to former Minister of Information Henry Mussa and former Director of Information Gideon Munthali saying the state makes sense to ask for more time as they are still investigating.
Principal Resident Magistrate Viva Nyimba has since adjourned the case to 21st September when the court will determine whether the two should be granted bail or not.
Former information minister in the deposed Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) administration was picked by police for being suspected of stealing government property while he was in office.
