State House Wants More Female Journalists To Cover Weekly Briefings

State House Director of Communications Sean Kampondeni has said the house is looking forward to see more female journalists covering the weekly briefings.

Kampondeni said this earlier today form Kamuzu palace in Lilongwe during this week’s state house updates.

Staring from last week, the state house introduce a weekly briefing which is aimed at updating the nation on the progress of government affairs.

Among others today, Kampondeni said President Lazarus Chakwera has had a number of meetings with various stakeholders in the past week aimed at pushing the development agenda of the Tonse Alliance government.

Adding to that President Chakwera met former president Joyce Banda and they discussed national issues. He also met other partners from the Tonse Alliance.

He also said the President also met on Thursday newly confirmed Inspector General of Police George Kainja and Minister of Finance Felix Mlusu.
