Two have died on Monday morning at Kalinyeke Trading center along the M1 road which is two kilometers away from Dedza Boma.
The deceased are Juwawo Samson aged 40 who was driving unregistered motorcycle and his passenger Sydney Damiano aged 35.
The accident happened around 3:00 am. The two were traveling from the Dedza Boma direction going to Lilongwe.
The driver failed to negotiate a diversion at the said place where there is construction of the weighbridge.
As a result he hit the barrier and they both sustained head injuries and various fractures.
The two died at the hospital where they were rushed to and postmortem has shown that they died due to head injuries.
Juwawo Samson was coming from Chiphwembwe village T/A Malemia in Nsanje while Sydney Damiano 35 was coming from Jekete village T/A Mpama in Chiradzulu.
