Woman who poured hot porridge on hubby still at large

Police in Kasungu are still hunting for Fales Lucia Mwalo for scalding her husband with hot porridge after a land dispute.

The victim has been identified as 45 year old Chikumbutso Banda.

Police say the couple has been disagreeing over a lease that Lucia issued to one of the people in their area, a thing that did not please her husband.

It was during one of the fierce quarrels that Lucia reportedly came of out of the kitchen with hot porridge before scalding her husband.

Currently, the victim is at Kasungu District Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, Namwaza says that police in the district have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect who is on the run.
