Bride cancels wedding outside church after finding out ‘groom slept with bridesmaid’

A Nigerian bride called off her wedding at the church after discovering her husband-to-be allegedly slept with her bridesmaid.

The distraught woman refused to go into the church to complete the wedding ceremony after the shocking discovery.

According to multiple online reports, the unidentified woman learnt about her partners alleged indiscretion while on her way to a church in the area of Garki in Abuja, Nigeria.

Mobile phone footage sighted by LailasNews shows the bride stepping out of a car in her white wedding gown and refusing to go inside the church.

She calls off the wedding ceremony and promptly walks away from the venue.

A man, who appears to be the groom in a black suit, chases after her and can be heard saying;

“I’m trying to explain … please.”

Visibly upset and disappointed, she wards him off, warning him not to touch her.

The pair argue at the pavement next to a busy road as the distraught woman tries to get out of the place, before a crowd can gather at the scene.

Both set of families were left stunned by the turn of events, as efforts to convince the bride to continue with the wedding proved abortive.
