A total of 432 bags of maize have been destroyed after lorry caught fire Monday morning in Dowa.
Dowa Police Public Relations Officer Gladson M’bumpha confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to M’bumpha, the accident happened Chingondo Bridge, involved a motor vehicle registration number BU 8719.
The cause of the fire is not yet known at the moment.
Meanwhile law enforcers have launched an investigation on the matter.
