Police in Dowa have arrested a Chipiku stores Branch manager at Bowe Trade Center for allegedly over-charging on the commodities under Affordable Input Program.
According to reports the Manager has been identified as Hananiah Kaonga.
It is reported that Kaonga was selling fertilizer at K5, 500 per bag instead of K4, 495 while a 5 kg pack of maize seed was being sold at K3, 000 instead of K2, 000.
Mponela Police spokesperson, Inspector Kaitano Lubrino could not confirm nor dismiss the matter.
Hananiah Kaonga, hails from Msampha village, TA Dzoole in Dowa.
