Minister of Education To Hold Media Briefing

Face of Malawi understands that Minister of Education Agnes Nyalonje will hold a media briefing this morning regarding the leakage of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) Examination papers.

The ministry’s spokesperson Chikondi Chimala has confirmed confirmed of the development adding that the Minister will brief the press at 11am.

According to Chimala the briefing is expected to take place form the Capital Hill in the capital city, Lilongwe.

The Minister is set to give out update on what transpired in yesterday’s emergency meeting convened by Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB’s) board.

There have been reports that there is a sabotage regarding this year’s MSCE examinations as papers are being found everywhere.

So far MANEB with the help of the Malawi Police Service have made some arrests in relation to the matter.
