Prophet rapεs woman during prayer session

Prophet Madzibaba Simba was sεxually attracted to one of his followers on her first visit at his shrine sometime in September this year.

Born Simbarashe Mutsindiri, the 24-year-old opened up during cross examination before magistrate Morgan Nemadire on Thursday where he is facing one count of rap_ing a 23-year-old woman while conducting prayers at her house.

“I did not rapε this woman but we were in love,” said Madzibaba Simba.

“She received a phone call from one of my sisters and she thought she was my wife and that did not go well with her leading to these false allegations.

“She attracted me on her first visit on the 2nd of September at the shrine when I proposed love to her.

“She only accepted my love proposal on the 19th of September two days before she lodged a complaint with the police against me.

“She assumed I wanted to dump her soon after having sεxual intercourse with her when she received a call from my sister,” he said.

The prophet stunned the gallery when he told the court that he wanted to pick a few witnesses from within the gallery.

“If the court may allow me to nominate three witnesses who are my followers in this court room,” said Madzibaba Simba.

Magistrate Nemadire gave him the opportunity and only one of the followers volunteered to take to the witness stand.

The witness sobbed before giving her evidence and Madzibaba Simba pleaded with the court to give him more time to call two more witnesses.

Madzibaba Simba will return to court next week when his witnesses will be expected to give their evidence.

It is the State’s case that on September 22 and at the complainant’s house in Zengeza, Madzibaba Simba unlawfully had sεxual interc0urse with a 23 year old woman without her consent.
