Teacher Rapes Student In Mzimba

Information reaching this publication indicate that a teacher at Kapando Community Day Secondary School in Mzimba Euthini has raped a student.

According to the information at hand, the teacher identified as Goodrich Nkhoma raped the student in the administration office.

Meanwhile, Nkhoma has been detained at Euthini Police station as he expected to appear in court soon.

Reports also indicate that Nkhoma was transferred from Euthini Secondary School where he was teaching for allegedly misbehaving.

It is said that he used to sell school mattresses hence his removal to Kapando Community Day Secondary School.

Almost each passing day the country is registering new cases of rape despite calls to fight the malpractice.

Not long ago, women rights campaigners, bemoaned that there is less effort the government is putting in ensuring that women and girls are safe from sex starving men.

At the moment, state President Lazarus Chakwera, has instituted a presidential taskforce, under the ministry of Homeland Affairs Security to ensure that women and girls are given maximum security.
