Man pushes his three children into canal after argument with wife over ‘extramarital affair’

 In a shocking incident reported from Haryana, a man who was said to be in an inebriated state, allegedly pushed his three kids into a canal in Karnal district after an altercation with his wife.

The incident took place on Monday evening near Kulvehri village. A team of divers was pressed into service to search for the kids but so far there is no trace of them.

The missing children are aged 3, 5 and 8, according to a report in Hindustan Times. Meanwhile, police have arrested the accused Sushil Kumar, a resident of Nalipur village.

The accused who worked as a fruit seller had an argument with his wife after which he took his three children on his bike and pushed them into a canal.

As villagers got to know of the incident, they tried to rescue the kids but couldn’t find them.

Sushil has reportedly admitted to the crime. He has accused his wife of having an extra-marital affair.

According to Kunjpura police station Station House Officer (SHO) Munish Kumar, the search operation was underway with help of divers.
