Woman Burns Daughter’s Hands For Misplacing K90, 000 Cash

Police in Dedza have arrested a woman for burning her nine year old daughter’s hands for misplacing money.
Dedza Police Spokesperson Cassim Manda confirmed of the arrest of the woman.
According to Manda, the incident took place in Kachule Village in the area of Traditional Authority Kachere in the district.
According to reports, the woman bound hands of her daughter’s hands before exposing them to fire.
The money reported to be misplaced by the nine year old girl is K90, 000.
Meanwhile the girl has been admitted to Dedza District Hospital where she is receiving treatment.
