MSCE exams set for January 5

The Malawi National Examination Board (MSCE)has said the Malawi Science Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination will be re-administered from January 5, 2020.

This follows the release of the new timetable by MANEB made available to faceofmalwi.

According to the statement, Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers have been hired to provide security during the examination.

Minister of Education Science and Technology Agnes Nyalonje nullified the October examination following massive leakage which was attributed to some workers at MANEB.

The exams were supposed to be re-taken in March next year but President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera directed that the exams be taken not late that January next year.

Government will spend over MK5 billion in re-administering the exams.
