At least two people have died and others have sustained serious injuries following an accident that occurred along the Chikangawa – Mzuzu road on Tuesday.
According to reports, the people were travelling in a Daihatsu registration number BW 9711 which overturned at Gwayi.
Mzimba police deputy Spokesperson Sub Inspector John Nyirongo confirmed of the accident.
Nyirongo identified the deceased as Linily Chavula and Kenan Mghogho.
Nyirongo said the woman died on the spot while the man died at Mzuzu central hospital where he was rushed to following the accident
