Parliament to reconvene on February 8 for budget review


Information reaching this publication indicates that Members of Parliament will return to the National Assembly on February 8 for for the 2020-2021 mid-year budget review meeting.

Clerk of Parliament Fiona Kalemba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

“I wish to inform you that the 2020/2021 Mid Year Budget Review Meeting of Parliament which will be the 2nd Meeting in the 49th session of Parliament will be held from Monday 8th February to March 12, 2021 in Parliament Chamber,” reads in part the Memo addressed to all Members of Parliament seen by this publication.

Details of other business of the house are not yet known at the moment.
