24 year old lady Salifya Lisa Chikoja has been stabbed to death by suspected robber in Zingwangwa Township in Blantyre.
The incident happened yesterday around 9pm.
According to reports, the young lady was staying with her sister identified as Lupa at a quarters inside a well-built fenced house in Zingwangwa where the two were renting and sharing rooms.
At around 9; 00pm Lisa’s sister heard her shouting alleging that a stranger had entered her room, as she rushed to check to check on her, it is said she saw a young man leaving the room of Lisa in a hurry.
She proceeded into Lisa’s room where she found her laying helplessly on the floor in a large pool of blood.
She therefore called for help and Lisa was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
When police were alerted, they rushed to the scene where it was discovered that Lisa’s phone is nowhere to be found and it has been switched off.
So far no arrest has been made, but the police have assured that they will get to te core of the matter to give Lisa justice.
Lisa was a graduate from Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) where she majored in Industrial Technology engineer.
Until her death she was working with candle Malawi Limited.
