25 Year Old Killed By Lightening In Phalombe

25-year-old Safunika Mamba has been killed by lightning in Phalombe District.
Phalombe Deputy Public Relations Officer Jimmy Kapanja confirmed that the incident occurred yesterday around 5 pm at Makawa Village in the district.
Kapanja said the deceased met his fate when he was coming from Dambo where he was tending to his herd of cattle.
On his way back home, he was struck by lightning and died on the spot.
Mamba hailed from Likatchali Village, Traditional Authority Chiwalo in Phalombe District.
