Two suspects escape from Lobi Police station


Two suspects have escaped from custody at Lobi Police Unit in Dedza.

Dedza Deputy Police spokesperson Cassim Manda has confirmed the development in an interview with the press

According to Manda, the two escaped by drilling a hole on the wall of their holding cell.

The two escapees, Kondwani Shikoya aged 22 and Jerevazio Chadeka, 36, are answering charges of theft and defilement respectively.

Police have since launched a man hunt for the two.
