The Chief Resident Magistrate Court in Zomba will deliver its ruling on March 4, 2021 on whether two police officers have a case to answer in the shooting death of three fishermen on Lake Chilwa.
Chief Resident Magistrate Rodrick Manyungwa communicated that the ruling was not ready on Tuesday.
State Prosecutor, Louis Makiyi said he will comment more on the case after the ruling.
The two police officers allegedly shot five fishermen during a fracas that erupted when they were trying to confiscate fishing gear from fishermen who were defying a fishing ban.
