Zambia President shocked with Magufuli’s death

Zambia President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has expressed shock over the death of Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli.

Magufuli died of a heart problem on Wednesday night, according to the Country’s Vice President.

Writing on his official facebook page, Lungu said Africa has lost a true servant leader.

“I am deeply saddened at the passing of a brother, a colleague, and a friend, President John Pombe Magufuli of the United Republic of Tanzania.
You will be remembered as a fearless Leader who sacrificed his life to serve the less privileged and transform your country.

“My brother, you have gone home too soon, but heaven has gained one of Africa’s brightest and bravest souls. Your leadership and wisdom will be greatly missed by us all,” wrote President Lungu

He added: “May you rest in peace; the gap you leave behind is big, we will trust God to guide the people of Tanzania.
Zambia mourns.”
