Mob Assaults Man For Allegedly Stealing Fresh Maize In Ntcheu

A 27-year-old man, Chifuniro Bulawo is battling for dear life at Ntcheu District Hospital after a mob torched him with petrol for allegedly being found stealing fresh maize.
Police say the incident took place yesterday at Kaudza village in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Njolomole in the district.
Ntcheu police deputy spokesperson, Rebecca Kwisongole, says on getting a tip about what was happening, officers rushed to the scene where they rescue the suspect.
Chifuniro Bulawo, hails from Davide village, T/A Njolomole in Ntcheu.
