Police caution road users about drift along Chingeni – Zalewa M1 Road

Police in Balaka are advising motorists to drive carefully within Phombeya area after Phalula trading centre towards Zalewa along Chingeni – Zalewa M1 Road.

“This comes amid drill developing underneath the tarmac road following vandalism of the steel culvert at the said area by unknown suspects.” Inspector Felix Misomali narrated

Traffic police at Phalula Police Unit have therefore mounted temporary road signs as a precautionary measure.
