Two people arrested for cultivating Chamba in Ntchisi

Barely two days after Police in Ntchisi arrested a 32-year-old Samson Chimbalanga for cultivating Marijuana without licence, Police in the district have also arrested two others for allegedly cultivating the illicit crop.

The two Rabson Golomati, 37, and Gladys Crifford, 23, were arrested on April 15, 2021 at Nkhudzi Village, Traditional Authority Kalumo following a tip off and about 1,325 plants of Cannabis Sativa were seized.

The suspects, who both come from Nkhudzi Village, Traditional Authority Kalumo in Ntchisi district, will soon appear before court after the completion of investigations.
