The Police in Ntcheu district has instituted a manhunt for thugs suspected of being behind the resurgent of barbaric blocking of the M1 road with the aim to robe motorists.
Ntcheu Police Spokesperson, Hastings Chigalu has confirmed the development while disclosing that over the weekend, life has been lost after a driver of a coaster lost control of his vehicle after hitting huge rocks blocking the road at Kachipeya village in the district.
Chigalu has since assured the citizenry that they are doing everything possible to crack down on the criminals while advising motorists operating in this route to approach the area with caution.
