Donald Trump can no longer have an account again with Facebook after getting permanently banned by Facebook
EX-president of the United States, Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Facebook after his posts about the Capitol riots created âan environment where a serious risk of violence was possibleâ.
The ruling was announced by the Facebook content Oversight Board today, Wednesday, who have decided that the then-presidentâs posts about the Capitol riots supported people âengaging in violenceâ.
The board said:
âThe Board found that the two posts by Mr. Trump on January 6 severely violated Facebookâs Community Standards and Instagramâs Community Guidelines.
ââWe love you. Youâre very specialâ in the first post and âgreat patriotsâ and âremember this day foreverâ in the second post violated Facebookâs rules prohibiting praise or support of people engaged in violence.â
Trump was initially suspended from Facebook and Instagram for 24 hours as a result of two posts he shared in which he appeared to praise the actions of rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6.
