Police in Bangwe, Blantyre have launched a manhunt for unknown criminals who stole a motor vehicle in Bangwe Township.
The victim, parked his vehicle, a silver Toyota Carina SI, registration number MJ 6063, along the road at Bangwe Primary School near the trading centre in order to purchase some groceries.
After sometime, he came back only to see his car being driven off by unknown people from where it was parked.
With assistance from his colleagues, they followed the thieves using another car but to no avail since the stolen vehicle disappeared after reaching Midima Highway.
Police say have instituted an investigation to apprehend the criminals and recover the motor vehicle.
