MDF Distances Itself From Fake Recruitment Vacancy Of Regular Soldiers

Date:

The Malawi Defense Force (MDF) has distanced itself from a recruitment vacancy of regular soldiers that is making rounds on social media.

Over the week, people on social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp were sharing the said vacancy that the MDF is inviting application letters on the said position and that deadline is June 10, 2021.

According to a press statement made available to Faceofmalawi, MDF said the vacancy is not true and that it should be regarded as sham.

Recently, MDF advertised that they are inviting applications from Medical Personnel, Secondary School teachers, Bandsmen/Women and Artisans but not regular Soldiers.

“The Malawi Defence Force (MDF) has learnt with great regret that following its recent advertisement on the recruitment of Medical Personnel, Secondary School Teachers, Bandsmen/ women, and Artisans, some unscrupulous individuals are circulating another advertisement on the social media claiming that the organization will conduct recruitment exercise for Regular Soldiers,” rad part of the statement.

The statement then said MDF is distancing itself from the said advertisement saying “it has not sanctioned any recruitment process for regular soldiers in its services.”

Therefore, the MDF has called on Malawians wishing to pursue a career in the MDF regular soldiers to disregard the advertisement.
