T.B Joshua’s Net Worth Explored

Many people may be wondering what pastor T.B. Joshua’s net worth was as the Nigerian pastor passed away at just 57 years old in 2021. Let’s find out more about pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua.

An official statement is yet to be released in regard to T.B. Joshua’s death. The news on June 5th came as a shock to many. T.B. Joshua leaves behind his wife, Evelyn, and their three daughters.

WHO WAS T.B. JOSHUA?

T.B. Joshua was born in Ondo State, Nigeria on June 12th, 1963.

He was “Nigeria’s most controversial clergyman”. He was best known for being the head of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) which was founded in 1987.

Detailing his life, the SCOAN website writes: “Joshua’s journey is a humbling story of how God raised a young man from a poverty-stricken home to lead an international ministry“.

He passed away at his home at 57 years old following a Saturday night teaching.

T.B. JOSHUA’S NET WORTH EXPLORED

A Forbes report from 2011 wrote that T.B. Joshua’s net worth was $10m-$15m.

The Prophet was included in a list of the ‘five richest pastors in Nigeria’.

His church, according to the report, brings in 15,000 worshippers on Sundays. Not just limited to Nigeria, the church also has branches in Ghana, the UK, South Africa, and Greece.

Not only did T.B. Joshua run SCOAN, but he also owns Christian TV network Emmanuel TV.

He was also good friends with people in high places such as Ghanaian President Atta Mills.

TWITTER PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE PASTOR

Once people heard of the sad news of Temitope Balogun Joshua’s death on June 5th, many took to Twitter to give their condolences.

One person wrote: “Prophet TB Joshua is Dead. Nigeria loss a great man of God“.

Another said: “I’m sorry but when this man was alive a lot of people criticized him, many people said he was doing fake miracles. He’s dead today and everybody is talking about how much of a philanthropist and amazing prophet he was. In this life just do you. May TB Joshua’s soul Rest In Peace.”

Another Tweeted that they didn’t want the news to be true: “TB Joshua is dead?… tell me it’s a lie”.
