Chilima Mourns Fallen Soldiers

Vice President Saulos Chilima has joined State President Lazarus Chakwera in mourning two soldiers who died yesterday in a road accident.

A military police vehicle on the presidential convoy involved in a road accident yesterday when president Chakwera was in transit from Lilongwe to Blantyre.

The Accident happened at Grace Bandawe near HHI in the commercial city of Blantyre.

“We join His excellency the President, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, the MDF high command and men and women in uniform and all citizens ; in mourning the loss of two of our officers who died in a road accident at Grace Bandawe near HH, today June 7, 2021,” read part of the statement.

Chilima then prayed that God should strength their families as they are passing through this difficult and trying times.
