Inter-cricket teams scramble for the championship

The chairperson for inter-cricket league Saidi Limdawala has said there is stiff competition in this year’s league as all participating teams scramble to be the champions.

Speaking in an interview, the chairperson said all participating teams are well prepared to be the champions which sets a belief that the league will be tougher.

“The league seems to be tough this season because all twelve participating teams are striving their best to grab the championship,” said Limdawala who is also captain for Mpingwi Sports Club, Silver A Club.

Captain for Farmenova, Sadiq Bhatti concurred with Limdawala, saying the tournament is tough this year as all teams geared to win.

“Farmenova is well prepared for the league with the intention to win because we have world experienced and skilled players,” he said.

Farmenova is one the leading manufacturers of Phamaceticals in Malawi with majority of it’s products like Panadol, Hedax, Panadol Extra and etc.
