Boat capsizes in in South Rukuru River, two people die

Two boys have been killed after the canoe they were in capsized in South Rukuru River at Mbalachanda in Mzimba District.
District’s deputy police spokesperson John Nyirongo identified the two boys as Fodson Zimba, aged 8 and Yakobe Zimba aged 10.
The two are not related.
The incident happened on Sunday when the two boys and a friend were using the canoe in the river where they had gone to graze goats along the banks.
