Man On the Run After He Attempted To Kill Wife Over Cheating Allegations

Police in Zimbabwe are hunting for a man who attempted to kill his wife after catching her in a compromising position with another man.

The jealous Clayton Domingo (40) of Wachenuka village allegedly struck his wife Isabel Karambaguva (43) thrice with a hoe on the head after he saw her with another man Moses Kavhura (45) in the same village while on a compromising position.

Mashonaland Central deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo confirmed the case.

“We are looking for Domingo who is facing an attempted murder case after attacking his wife with a hoe before leaving her in a pool of blood,” Dhliwayo said.

Witnesses said Domingo wanted to attack his wife’s boyfriend but he fled leaving the couple behind.

The furious Domingo subsequently attacked his wife and went into hiding leaving her in a pool of blood.

Her boyfriend Kavhura came back and rescued her before taking her to Guruve hospital where she is currently admitted.
