The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has announced that it will this afternoon announce official results of the parliamentary and local government by-elections held on Tuesday, June 29 in some parts of the country.
Confirming the development, the Spokesperson for the Commission, Sangwani Mwafulirwa, says the announcement will be made at 4 PM at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, formerly College of Medicine, Sports Complex in Blantyre.
MEC was conducting parliamentary by-elections in Nkhatabay Central Constituency and local government by-elections in Chikwembere Ward in Blantyre North and Nsanje Lalanje Ward.
