One Girl To Sit For PSLCE Exams At Thumba Primary School

Thumba primary school in Neno out of eight learners who are expected to sit for this year’s primary school leaving certificate of Education examinations, only one is a girl.
The district’s council chairperson, Biswas Maganga has confirmed the issue.
Maganga said that this is an evidence of lack of support towards girl child education in the district.
Days for Girls Country Representative, Eunice Chimphoyo Banda her suggestion was that ,provide girls with sanitary kits so that they remain in schools when menstruating.
