Kazako tests positive to Covid-19

LILONGWE – Minister of Information and government spokesperson Gospel Kazako has tested positive to Covid-19, but says is without “serious symptoms”.

Kazako, in an interview, said the positive test was confirmed yesterday at Kamuzu Central Hospital after going through three other tests a few days ago which all came out negative.

“The doctor told me that I am positive but recovering. In fact I am feeling much better now than a few days ago when I sought the tests which all came out negative” said the Minister.

Kazako said that he is currently in self-isolation and urges those who have been in contact with him, in the past few days, to go for a test.
