Mpinganjira back in Court as Bribery case continues

The High Court Judge Dorothy DeGabrielle in Blantyre has this morning resumed hearing a case against Busines Mogul Thom Mpinganjira.

Mpinganjira is in court for closing oral arguments in a case in which he is being accused of attempting to bribe five judges who heard the presidential election case.

Today, the defense and prosecution are expected to present their closing arguments in the case.

The defense team is led by lawyer Patrice Nkhono and Tamando Chokhotho while the State is being led by Reyneck Matemba.

Nkhono, is the first to make final submissions for the defense before commenting on closing arguments by the state.
