Chakwera Nods To Brian Banda’s Scholarship To China

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has granted leave to State House Press Officer Brian Banda to attend four-month training in China.

Director of Communications at State House, Sean Kampondeni who is also Special Assistant to the President disclosed this during a weekly briefing currently underway at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.

According to Kampondeni, Banda is expected to leave on Friday.

He said the President will soon be naming the acting Press Secretary to take office for the period the Press Secretary will be in China.

Kampondeni also trashed the rumours hovering on social media that Banda has been fired by the President.
