Leaners set ablaze Linyangwa Primary School grass thatched fence

Learners at Linyangwa Primary School in Traditional Authority Lukwa in Kasungu have set ablaze the school’s grass thatched fence in protest over the delay in administering end of term examinations.

According to the learners, they are suspecting mismanagement of their examination funds by school authorities.

But in an interview, Head Teacher for the school Mark Paul has described the situation as unfortunate and regrettable.

He said the delay in administering the exams was due logistical challenges.

Paul has since assured us that the examinations will be administered.

Meanwhile, authorities have since called the police to arrest the situation.
