Man arrested for murdering Burundian national in Kasungu

Police in Kasungu are keeping in custody a 22 year-old man for allegedly murdering a Burundian National identified as Samson Hamenyimana.

Kasungu police deputy spokesperson sergeant Miracle Mkozi has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

Mkozi has identified the suspect as Chisomo Malaki who hails from Makanda village in the area of traditional authority Wimbe in Kasungu.

Mkozi has added that the suspect admitted to have murdered the victim in order to steal his property.
