General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM) Apostle Johnson Suleman has reacted to an allegation by Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike that they had an affair.
He said that he is not angry with those attacking him on social media over the allegation.
Chioma Ifemeludike had alleged that she slept with the popular preacher for money and the memory has continued to torment her.
But Apostle Suleman, in a video on Sunday, told his congregation and followers he was not bothered by the allegation.
âWhy are you encouraging a man that is not discouraged? Iâm upset since yesterday. I saw messages saying that I should not worry.
âRead my countenance, when you see me moody you can encourage me. Do I look like somebody who needs encouragement? Iâm not discouraged at all and Iâm not angry at those insulting me on social media,â he said.
Suleman said he remained focused on his God-given assignment, stating his abusers were only reacting to what they read online.
According to him: âThey are reacting to what they read. They are reacting to what they see and not what they know.
âYou canât know me and not like me, itâs impossible. Keep doing what you are doing and Iâll keep doing what Iâm doing. I must do the work of he that sent me.â
He further added he had ignored all the videos made against him.
âMy wife can bear witness, all the video done against me Iâve not watched one. Many of you have watched it but me, the subject matter Iâve not watched one.
âWhat I donât see cannot affect me. Somebody sent me a video from a blog yesterday, that was the last time it was on my phone. I guard my heart so that I can have fellowship with God. Stop all these rumors and gossips. What will not encourage me I donât give attention to it,â Apostle Suleman said.
