President Lazarus Chakwera has congratulated the country’s National Team for defeating Mozambique National Team yesterday in South Africa in the 2022 world cup qualifiers.
Writing on his official Facebook page, the first citizen, said that he is proud of “our lads”
According to Chakwera, it gives him joy to congratulate “The Flames on their victory over Mozambique in the second round of Group D,”
He then wished them all the best as they prepare for their next Challenge.
The country’s vice president Saulos Chilima also joined the president in congratulating the Flames on their recent victory.
The flames scored its goal through Richard Mbulu in the tenth minute top earn three points.
On September three, the flames lost to Cameroon by two goals to nil.
