Even though sologamy is not common in Nigerian communities, there are some places around the world where it’s being practiced.
Just like in the case of Cris Galera, a Brazilian lady who decided to marry herself and celebrate the marriage with her close friends, many people have followed this path at one point in time.
The Brazilian lady explained that she took this decision as it appears to be the best way to boost her self-esteem and free her from men’s problems.
She also encouraged other women to follow her steps and marry themselves.

Also, a report on the internet revealed that an Arab Sheik made a marriage proposal to Cris Galera and promised to pay the sum of $500,000as her dowry. As expected, the beautiful Brazilian lady refused to divorce herself, hence, rejected the marriage proposal.
