Media magnate and internet entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg has lost at least 7 billion us dollar following a disruption of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram yesterday.
The philanthropist, is known for co-founding Facebook, Inc. and serves as its chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder.
For at least 8 hours, the three social media networks were down globally resulting into reducing Zuckerberg’s worth by nearly 7 billion us dollars.
The worldwide fall of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, even caused a position in the list of the richest people in the world to drop.
Shares of the social media ‘giant’ plummeted about 5%, adding to a 15% drop since mid-September.
