A court in Blantyre has convicted a mother and her daughter for assaulting a Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) Nurse.
It is also reported that the two Esnart Selemani and her daughter Yankho occasioned bodily harm to Getrude Moffat who was on duty.
Senior Resident magistrate Akkya mwanyongo has said the court will hear mitigation on Friday.
Magistrate Mwanyongo has also consequently revoked bail of the two.
Selemani and her daughter committed the crime on February 17 this year when the nurse advised them to leave the room and to wear a mask properly as Coivid-19 preventive measure.
