Causes Of Private Organ Shrinkage In Men And How To Prevent It

Private organ shrinkage in men is a decrease in what could be considered as the normal size of the male private organ.

When this happens in a man, it could cause a lot of discomfort to the affected person, and also it can make him have low self-esteem.

Therefore some men who are not satisfied with the size of their organ may look for ways to increase it.

Sometimes, the shrinkage can be permanent, and other times, it is the result of a treatable condition or due to lifestyle habits.

The size of the male organ varies from one man to the other and in some cases, considerably.

Studies show that despite what many believe or think, neither race nor ethnicity which has to do with where a person comes from has anything to do with the size of his organ.

While some men may think they have above average size, most still fall into the range medical experts consider to be the normal size.

Here is what experts say about the size of a male private organ:

1. Average length of a flaccid organ: 9.16 centimeters (about 3.6 inches)

2. Average length of a flaccid stretched organ: 13.24 cm (about 5.3 inches)

3. Average length of an erect organ: 13.12 cm (about 5.2 inches)

4. Average circumference of a flaccid organ: 9.31cm (about 3.7 inches)

5. Average circumference of an erect organ: 11.66 cm (about 4.6 inches)

1. Aging

As a man ages, fatty deposits build up in the arteries causing reduced blood flow to his private organ. This results in the muscle cells in the erectile tubes inside the organ becoming weaker. The erectile tubes produce erections when they are engorged with blood, so less blood flow means smaller or fewer firm erections.

2. Weight Gain

The impact of weight gain, particularly around their stomachs, is a genuine concern for many men as they age.

Although a man’s organ may appear smaller with weight gain, it has not shrunk.

The reason it looks smaller is that the man’s organ is attached to the abdominal wall, and when the belly expands, it pulls it inward.

If a man loses weight, his organ will regain its usual shape and size.

Peyronie’s disease

In Peyronie’s disease, fibrous scar tissue develops inside the penis causing it to become curved during erection.

Most of the time, a curved erection is not a reason for concern, but for some men, the bend might be significant or become painful.

Peyronie’s condition can cause a reduction in the length and circumference of a man’s private organ.

Medications

Some medications can cause male private organ shrinkage.

These medicines include Adderall, prescribed for attention deficit or hyperactivity, some antidepressants and antipsychotics, and some drugs prescribed to treat an enlarged prostate.

Smoking

Chemicals from cigarette smoking can injure the blood vessels in a man’s system, preventing his organ from filling with blood and stretching.

Regardless of the stimuli and the effect on the brain, if the blood vessels are damaged, the organ will not achieve an erection.

How to prevent private organ shrinkage in men.

1. Maintain a healthy diet

2. Watch your weight

3. Quit taking hyperactive drugs

4. Stop drug abuse

5. Quit smoking
