Twenty people from Mkata Village in Chileka, Blantyre have been arrested for allegedly having hand in the torching the Headstone Prophetic Ministry’s church building.
Chileka Police Spokesperson, Jonathan Phillipo, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Earlier on, members of the Mkata community stormed Chileka Police to demand their release.
A quarell over funeral rites for GVH Mkata, between members Headstone Prophetic Ministry and the Gule Wamkulu cult is believed to have led the irate community to set the church and vehicle on fire, last Sunday.
