Nigerian top musician Joe boy and South African Singer Shekhinah are expected to jet in the country today ahead of Lilongwe Music Festival (Lifest) this weekend.

Lifest Project Coordinator, Maya Kalumo has confirmed.

The international musicians will perform alongside local artists such as Tay grin, Black Missionaries Band among others.

“We are Set for the festival, everything is coming together and Malawians will be mesmerised, as I am talking VIP tickets are sold this speaks volumes of how the event is being perceived,” said Kalume.

Lifest concept initially was developed to tackle Mental Health and Gender-Based Violence among other cross-cutting issues.

The event is slated to run from Friday the 29th till Saturday at Lilongwe Golf Club.
