Group Village Head Namanya of the area of Traditional Authority Mlolo in Nsanje, who was stabbed in the chest in the wee hours of Thursday last week, has died.
Senior Chief Mlolo has confirmed the death in an interview with the press, saying the chief died this morning at Queen Elizabeth central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre.
The chief was stabbed Yanjanani Makwenemba last week.
Makwenemba was burnt to death by an irate mob at Masenjere in the area, in retaliation.
GVH Namanya whose real name is Maxwell Useni, has died at the age of 40.
