Angry Minibus drivers detain two buses in Zomba

Angry minibus operators in Zomba have detained two buses belonging to Ulemu Bus Services and Axa Bus Services.

The minibus operators have blocked the road at City Boundary where each minibus or taxis are not allowed to pass.

This, according to one of the minibus drivers, was to force government to reverse its decision on the toll gates’ fees it introduced at Chingeni and Kalinyeke.

Meanwhile, workers and businesspersons are being forced to walk as no commutal vehicles are operating on the road.
